The Prewett family has been designing, manufacturing, and installing custom storage solutions for customers for 30 years… and counting. It started with Danny’s father, Loyd, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. When Danny saw and loved what he was doing there, we began offering our services in the upstate of South Carolina. In 1994, we opened a location in Gainesville, Georgia and began service in Western North Carolina in 1995. We expanded our operations into our first plant in Anderson, SC in 1997 and moved to our current factory in 2005, utilizing the latest 3D CAD technology and manufacturing equipment. We purchased Spacemakers, a longstanding staple in the home organization industry in Atlanta, in 2013. Over the years, our team has established a reputation of providing total customer satisfaction and product flexibility. We are committed to meeting and exceeding the needs of every customer from the most basic to the most elaborate storage solution. With both Danny’s sons, Matt & Paul, continuing this strong tradition of service and quality (and the 4th generation currently in training!), you simply couldn’t choose a better company with which to do business.
Paula Schreckenstein
Scheduling Manager
Paula started with us in 2013 scheduling 2 installer crews in Atlanta. Since then, she has been promoted to lead the scheduling department, which has grown to manage 20 crews company-wide. She enjoys watching her girls cheer, building relationships with our customers, and coloring within the lines.
Bailey Smith
Scheduler
Bailey is our scheduler and general office do-everything-and-then-some person. She comes to us with many years of customer service experience working at Ingles Markets. And yes, you can actually hear the smile when she answers the phone.
Janet Lewis
Sales / Design
Janet has worked in the custom closet and home storage industry for more than 19 years. She truly enjoys her work because of her ability to get to know each of her customers on a personal level, allowing her to literally “transform their lives” with the perfect, customized solution. In her prior career, Janet spent 23 years in hardware and software sales. She currently resides at Lake Oconee, where she enjoys being an active member of her community. She loves to cook, entertain, and spend time with her family and her six dogs.
Seden Harrison
Sales / Design
Seden has over 10 years of sales/customer service and design experience. Her favorite part about the job is having the opportunity to meet new people every day and work together with them to create something they are very excited about. Seden grew up overseas, attended college in Texas but is happy to call Atlanta home for the last 20 years. In her free time she is busy with her family of teenagers and loves to travel whenever she can. Her main goal in designing for customers is to listen to their wants and needs and then create a solution for their organizational needs that is both affordable and functional.
Kim McCrary
Sales / Design
Kim has over 10 years experience designing and decorating homes in the Atlanta area. She has three children of her own and understands the need to organize for home, school, and sports activities. She enjoys working with families as she helps them find solutions to their home organizational needs. Her attention to detail and enthusiasm make it fun and easy to create the perfect space for anyone. Whether it be your closet, pantry or laundry room she knows the importance of having these areas at top functionality.
Robert Cody
Sales / Design
Robert Cody served our country proud as a United States Marine. He brings his leadership skills, honor, courage, and commitment to work every day and we are proud to have him on our team. He has 15 years experience in the installed specialty products including custom closet design and sales.
Melissa Purdon
Sales / Design
Melissa loves to work with home builders and homeowners to create functional and beautiful designs for master closets, entertainment centers, pantry, and office spaces. She has over 20 years experience as a designer, working in the home decor, gift and apparel industries. She truly enjoys working with clients to ideate and bring creative concepts into reality for their homes.
Michelle Gillis
Sales / Design
Michelle has over 10 years of design experience including interior and space planning, as well as custom closet and storage design. She has a passion for helping her clients achieve a space that reflects their personality and style, while maximizing functionality and storage.
Originally a native of Colorado, she has called Alpharetta home for the past 21 years. She has a passion for fitness, having run many marathons and half marathons. When she is not training for a race, she enjoys sharing Sunday dinners with her family.
Her primary goal is to create a client experience that exceeds expectations from beginning to end.
Deana Fishman
Sales / Design
Deana is a passionate sales designer who loves helping her clients design a space that is customized to their wants and needs. She is a strong communicator with fierce attention to detail that allows her to assist the client to envision and achieve their goals for an extremely functional and well appointed space. She spends her spare time on Lake Oconee and stays active walking and doing yoga.
Lauren Kersey

Lauren has over 10 years of customer service experience. She enjoys listening to her clients wants and needs and creating a solution for their organizational needs. With a strong attention to detail, she loves helping people’s visions come to life both aesthetically and functionally. In her spare time, you can catch her hiking with her husband and two dogs or on the lake.
Jenny Redmond

Jenny has been immersed in the construction and design industry from a young age. As the daughter of a custom home builder, she has been exposed to the fine details of how each space in a home serves a purpose. Defining a space or making it more versatile for everyday use is pivotal for day to day peace of mind. In the words of Jules Feiffer, “Design is important because chaos is so hard”. She enjoys helping her clients achieve peace of mind by problem solving a chaotic or undefined space and creating a space that brings a smile to their hearts.
In her spare time she enjoys having large family and friend cookouts in the backyard; children running around and all the dogs trying to keep up. A little bit of the right chaos amongst perfect organization, there is always a perfect balance!

Carolyn Maselli is driven by her passion for finding the right solution for her clients. Her experience ensures that each of her clients receives the highest-level customer service.
Carolyn has been in interior design for over 15 years. Her background in design and home renovation helps her relate to clients’ visions in order to give them design-focused solutions.

Jay brings many years of multi-faceted experience to Carolina Closets and Spacemakers, including installing closets for 20 years. Jay shares our view that at the end of the day, all that matters is how well we meet the customers’ expectations, which makes him a perfect fit for his role.

Limited Lifetime Residential Warranty Coverage: Spacemakers of Atlanta, LLC warrants that the products which we install will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the products when used for single-family residential use. This limited warranty extends only to the original end user of the products, and is not transferable. Lifetime warranty is limited and does not include installed accessories, electronics, hardware, or other third party parts; these components attached to our shelves and verticals carry a 5 year warranty.
One Year Non-Residential Coverage: Spacemakers of Atlanta,LLC warrants that the products we install will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of (1) year when used for non-residential or commercial use. This limited warranty extends only to the original end user of the product and is not transferable.
Exclusive Remedy: Spacemakers of Atlanta, LLC will repair or replace any component of the products you purchase at no charge, if it is defective. This is your sole and exclusive remedy for any defects in the product purchased. If Spacemakers of Atlanta, LLC does not repair or replace a defective component of the products within a reasonable time, its liability to you will be limited to the purchase price of the products.
Exclusions from Coverage: You will have waived any claim for breach of warranty if you do not notify SpaceMakers of Atlanta, LLC or its authorized representative in writing within 90 days after you discover the defect. This limited lifetime warranty does not cover (1) the improper installation by others, or use of the product; (2) abuse or neglect; or (3) normal wear and tear. Nobody can expand this warranty or waive any of its limitations. Spacemakers of Atlanta, LLC has neither relation to nor responsibility, inherent or implied, for the products, installations, and warranties of other companies. Including but not limited to; SpaceMakers of SW Florida, SpaceMakers of Chattanooga, SpaceMakers Closet Interiors, SpaceMakers of America, SpaceMakers of Asheville, or any others not specifically designated.
